Sustainability & Environment: The Polyurethane Advantage

A healthy choice for you and the planet. At the core of Novalideck® development is a commitment to environmental impact. Unlike traditional PVC flooring, our Polyurethane-based system is completely free from harmful phthalates (plasticizers). The absence of these volatile substances not only ensures a healthier climate on board but also guarantees the exceptional lifespan of your deck; the material remains stable and retains its shape without becoming brittle over time.

The foundation of Novalideck®; Sika® Marine Deco Teak contains no components considered to have endocrine disrupting properties according to REACH Article 57(f), Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2100, or Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/605, at concentrations of 0.1% or higher.

REACH COMPLIAnt: The complete Novalideck system complies with the strictest European environmental requirements (REACH regulation).

Certified IMO Safety Standards: We go beyond aesthetics. The Sikafloor® Marine Decoteak systems we utilize are distinguished by very low emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). Our systems comply with the strict safety and pollution standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). This certification underlines our dedication to maritime safety and environmental protection.

A Circular Future and Recycling While PVC is known as a material that is notoriously difficult to recycle, PU offers a more sustainable perspective. Novalideck® is designed with the future in mind: the material is recyclable and can be reprocessed at the end of its lifecycle.

Reducing Your Ecological Footprint By choosing Infinity Teak®, you are making a conscious decision for a more sustainable alternative to both real timber and PVC. You are investing in a product that is:
